HONG KONG — E! Networks has signed deals in South Korea, Malaysia and Philippines that place its celebrity entertainment programming on TV, phone and mobile platforms across Asia.
South Korea’s O’live Channel acquired several episodes of “E! True Hollywood Story” and some of the “Style Her Famous” series.
ETC in the Philippines acquired shows including “E! News,” “The Daily 10,” “Sexiest,” “The Girls Next Door” and two seasons of “Try My Life.”
Malaysia’s NTV7 picked up “Beyonce Uncut” and US Weekly’s “Hottest Hollywood Style.”
E! also struck a video-on-demand deal with South Korean mobile phone group Hanaro Telecom, a mobile deal with Sky New Zealand and a mobile satellite TV deal with TU Media Corp in South Korea.
