MOMI to fete Bodenheimer, Burke

Topper honored on May 4

The Museum of the Moving Image is to honor ESPN prexy George Bodenheimer and Comcast’s Stephen B. Burke on May 4.

The two will be feted at the museum’s annual gala noting influential figures in the entertainment industry.

Bodenheimer has been president of ESPN since 1998 and of ABC Sports since 2003. A year later he was also tapped as co-chair of Disney Media Networks.

Burke joined Comcast in 1998, where he is chief operating officer for the Comcast Corp. as well as prexy of Comcast Cable Communications.

Dinner will be held at the St. Regis Hotel in New York. All funds raised will go to the museum’s educational programs.
