Law firm adds partner

Fox joins entertainment legal team

Attorney David Fox has been named partner at the entertainment law firm Myman Abell Fineman Greenspan & Light. Firm will now be known as Myman Abell Fineman Fox Greenspan & Light.

Aaron Rosenberg has joined as an associate in the firm’s music department.

Fox’s client list includes Oscar-winning filmmaker Gavin Hood (“Tsotsi”), writer-director Thomas Bezucha (“The Family Stone”), screenwriters Sheldon Turner (“The Longest Yard”) and William Monahan (“Kingdom of Heaven,” Martin Scorsese’s upcoming “The Departed”), “Saw” filmmakers James Wan and Leigh Whannell, Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist Richard Russo, multihypenates Rob Zombie and Henry Rollins, TV legend Norman Lear, thesp Jon Cryer and helmers Joseph Kahn and the Malloys (cousins Keith and Brendan).

Fox has been with the law firm since 1999. Prior to that, he was a partner at Kehr, Crook and Fox.

“David has incredible range with his practice and has a knack for identifying and connecting with today’s top literary and director talent,” said Robert Myman.

Formerly of Greenberg Traurig, Rosenberg reps Grammy winner John Legend and recent Oscar winners Three 6 Mafia.

Myman Abell Fineman Greenspan & Light was formed in 1978. Clients include Billy Bob Thornton, Greg Kinnear, David Koepp, Maria Bello, Christina Aguilera, Jewel, Jack Johnson and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
