Morning Ratings Flash - Rick Kissell

“CSI: Miami” helped CBS clinch victory in most key ratings categories on Monday but Fox also had a nice night thanks to “24” and “Nanny 911,” according to preliminary nationals from Nielsen.

Fox’s “Nanny 911” won the 8 o’clock hour in demos (3.7 rating/10 share in adults 18-49, 9.6 million viewers overall) over a repeat of NBC’s “Fear Factor” (3.3/9 in adults 18-49, 8.4 million viewers overall) and original episodes of CBS comedies “Still Standing” (3/9 in adults 18-49, 10.4 million viewers overall) and “Listen Up” (3.2/9 in adults 18-49, 10.1 million viewers overall).

CBS then took over at 9 with winning deliveries by a repeat “Everybody Loves Raymond” (5.1/13 in adults 18-49, 15.5 million viewers overall) and an original “Two and a Half Men” (5.1/13 in adults 18-49, 16 million viewers overall) but Fox was a competitive second in demos with “24” (4.7/12 in adults 18-49, 11.4 million viewers overall). NBC’s repeat of “Las Vegas” placed third (3.2/8 in adults 18-49, 8.7 million viewers overall).

It was a quiet 10 o’clock hour on the broadcast nets despite all firstrun programming, with each series hitting firstrun season lows. CBS led the way with “CSI: Miami” (6.4/17 in adults 18-49, 18.7 million viewers overall), followed by NBC’s “Medium” (4.4/11 in adults 18-49, 11.6 million viewers overall) and ABC’s “Supernanny” (2.9/7 in adults 18-49, 7.5 million viewers overall).
