Reid goes it ‘Alone’

Lions Gate gets a little 'Dark'

NEW YORK — “Alone in the Dark” thesp Tara Reid was alone in the brisk cold on Jan. 26 for the Gotham launch party of the Lions Gate horror pic.

Party, held on the far West Side at nightspot Quo, went on sans Lions Gate brass and co-star Stephen Dorff, who were all still on Park City soil. Also absent was cast member Christian Slater, who is starring in “One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest” across the pond. With a few horror pics under her belt, Reid confessed to her own fear of the dark. “Now, when I’m alone I have to have a nightlight on,” she said.

Reid was joined by Mos Def and “Queer Eye” guys Ted Allen and Carson Kressley, who passed the time playing the vidgame upon which the movie is based.
