Studio exec Alan Wilson died May 6 in Burbank, Calif. He was 86.

Services are scheduled at the Wee Kirk of the Heather Church, Forest Lawn, Glendale, May 11 at 1:30 p.m.

A member of the Executive Branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, he was also past president of the Motion Pictures Controllers Association.

He spent 25 years as a United Artists exec, serving as V.P./West Coast Controller for five years. He then moved to Polygram Pictures as president of production affairs, and ended his career as financial consultant with the Completion Bond Company.

He is survived by wife Connie, a daughter, a son and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
