BERLIN — Wolfram Winter and Olaf Castritius have been named chief execs of the newly consolidated NBC Universal Global Networks Deutschland.
The company brings together the assets of Universal Studios Networks Deutschland, which includes pay TV outlets Sci Fi and 13th Street, and NBC’s youth-skewed cable channel Giga as well as planned future projects.
Winter, who headed Universal Networks Deutschland, will continue to oversee marketing, content, creative and press, while Castritius, former head of Giga, will be in charge of human resources, legal and business affairs, operations/IT, distribution, finance and administration.
Stefan Ritsche, a former programming exec at Sony BMG, license trader EM.TV and RTL Television, will be head of programming, acquisitions, scheduling and production. Katrin Rogge-Solti has been promoted from her USN post as director of finance and administration to chief financial officer at the new holding.
Stefan Barchfeld, who was sales director at MTV Central Europe, local web Neun Live and MGM, is the new commercial director, while Barbara Simon, former head of creative solutions at ProSiebenSat 1, is creative director for marketing.
