Nickelodeon has upped Pamela Kaufman to executive vice president of marketing and worldwide partnerships.
Reporting to Nick TV prexy Cyma Zarghami, Kaufman will take on expanded responsibility for strategic planning of worldwide programming launches and global partnership deals.
Having previously served as marketing senior VP, exec will now be charged with domestic and international marketing for Nick and promotion for digital channels the N, Noggin, Gas and Nicktoons. She also will help bridge relationships between Nick’s Stateside partners and its international channels.
Kaufman will continue to oversee advertising, promotions and planning for the U.S. network and the marketing of its growing Paramount-based movie business.
Exec’s credits include spearheading the multiplatform marketing efforts for Nick franchises “SpongeBob SquarePants,” “Dora the Explorer,” “The Kids’ Choice Awards” and the cabler’s new tween-targeted TeeNick programming block.
Before joining Nick, Kaufman was VP of promotions at Turner, where she built TBS’ first promotions group for its licensing and merchandising division. She worked on the campaigns for “The Flintstones,” “Jonny Quest” and “Scooby-Doo.” She also was a senior director for account services at Equity Marketing.
