Richard Kind (“Spin City”) has joined the cast of Fox’s quirky drama “Head Cases,” playing an ex-attorney who was disbarred in the midst of a scandal.
He’ll star alongside Chris O’Donnell and Adam Goldberg in the upcoming 20th Century Fox skein, in which O’Donnell and Goldberg’s law firm hires Kind’s character as a paralegal.
Kind appears in the new feature “Bewitched,” and also appeared in “The Station Agent” and “Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.” On TV, besides “Spin City” he’s best known for recurring roles on “Mad About You,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and “Scrubs.”
Thesp also does frequent voice work, throating characters in the films “Finding Nemo” and “A Bug’s Life.”
“We consider his presence in any situation comic gold,” said “Head Cases” exec producer Jeff Rake. “He has an amazing ability to play for laughs while still being able to sell dramatic moments with great sincerity and charm.”
