Brie Larson

Fifteen-year-old Brie Larson (“Sleepover”) has been tapped for a lead role in New Line’s “Hoot.”

She stars opposite Logan Lerman in the pic, adapted by director Wil Shriner from Carl Hiaasen’s novel about a boy fighting to protect a family of endangered owls. Walden Media production will begin shooting this summer.

Larson’s other credits include “13 Going on 30” and “Hearts in Atlantis.”
