‘Phat,’ ‘Reality,’ get cribs at MTV

MTV has greenlit a pair of primetime reality shows for the fall, ordering up “The Reality Show” from Superdelicious (MTV’s “That ’70s House”) and British format “Bad Dads, Phat Mums” from Scout Prods. (“Queer Eye”). The cable network also has greenlit the afternoon dating show “Parental Control” and renewed “Pimp My Ride,” “Meet the Barkers” and “Next.” In addition, MTV has announced a July 21 premiere date for “Nick Cannon Presents Wild ‘n’ Out”. The sketch comedy/improv series features two teams of emerging comics — led each week by a different celebrity guest — in a head-to-head competition.
