Theater Development Fund, the nonprofit org that runs Gotham’s discount TKTS booths, has a new chairman of the board in David D. Holbrook.
It’s the second time around for Holbrook, who occupied the post from 1990-97. The former financier, who retired in 1998 after almost 40 years with Marsh & McLennan, replaces lawyer John F. Breglio, chairman since 1997.
Breglio tries his hand at commercial producing with the upcoming Broadway revival of “A Chorus Line” — a move that prompted his stepping down as chairman of TDF, since commercial producers aren’t allowed on the nonprofit’s board of directors. But Breglio will still stick with the org as counsel.
