‘Continuum’ moves to Perry Street

Play starts 8-week run at new theater

“In the Continuum” continues: After a successful preem at Primary Stages, the two-hander, written and performed by Danai Gurira and Nikkole Salter, moves to the Perry Street Theater on Nov. 18 for an eight-week run.

Helmed by Robert O’Hara, the show traces the ravages of AIDS on the lives of African and African-American women. With an unusual two-perf weekly sked (Wednesday and Sunday), the modest production managed to attract auds and garner strong reviews since its Sept. 11 bow.

At the Perry Street, “Continuum” bumps up to seven shows per week. It opens Dec. 1 and runs through Jan. 14.
