‘Women’ easy cell

World Brief

Helmer Sathyan Ramesh’s comedy “Schoene frauen” (Beautiful Women) will preem on cell phones at the same time as its bigscreen bow in Germany.

Vodafone will become the first provider to offer a full-length movie via cell phone in Germany.

The pic is part of a campaign, which will include scenes from Hollywood classics such as “E.T.” These will be supplied by ConVisual, which struck a deal with U.S. studios including New Line and Universal covering licenses for 30-second sequences from back catalogues.
