Pic receives Brutus Academy's stigma of worst foreign film

Gaul’s Brutus Academy has crowned “The Passion of the Christ” the worst foreign film released in France last year.

Local version of the Razzies, made public before the Cesars awards ceremony Feb. 26, declared Claude Lelouch‘s scattered ensembler “Humankind: The Parisians” the worst French film of 2004 in a field of 198 titles.

Isabelle Huppert took the actress Brutus for her perf as an indiscriminate libertine with a yen for her son in “Ma Mere.”

Rupert Everett won the male acting nod for his turn as a French-speaking dandy in the overblown sequel “People: Jet Set 2.”

Italian porn star Rocco Siffredi earned the least promising award for his way-more-talk-than-action role in Catherine Breillat‘s “Anatomy of Hell.”
