Israel fest chairman named

Event will travel to Gotham, L.A., Miami

Meyer Gottlieb, president and CEO of Samuel Goldwyn Films, has been named chairman of the 21st Israel Film Festival.

This year’s festival will present 40 new Israeli feature films, documentaries, television dramas, and student shorts. The festival will travel to New York (Oct. 20 – Nov. 6), Los Angeles (Dec. 1 – 11), and Miami (Jan. 11 – 19).

Since 1982, the festival has spotlighted Israel’s growing entertainment industries to promote understanding of Israeli culture.
