Mark A. Harris, one of the producers of the sleeper hit “Crash,” has announced a slate of films for his indie banner, the Harris Co.

On tap is black comedy thriller “Kevin Approaches,” scripted by Patrick Breen, with Laura Linney attached. Film, set to start shooting this fall in Gotham, will mark the directorial debut of Toni Kotite.

Also in development is director Paul A. Kaufman’s “A Hole in the Earth” from a script by Rodney Patrick Vaccaro. Kaufman also will co-produce.

“Earth” cast includes William H. Macy, who also is set to produce. Family drama is about a man coming to terms with the death of his family. Harris said he is talking to different companies about funding for the project.

The Harris Co. will co-produce a remake of 1965 Academy Award-winning “A Thousand Clowns” with producing partner Bobby Moresco. Moresco co-wrote “Crash” with writer-director Paul Haggis, who scripted Clint Eastwood’s “Million Dollar Baby.”

The Harris Co. also is developing “‘Til Death Do Us Part,” to be written and directed by Malcolm Clark, who received an Academy Award nom in 2003 for his docu “Prisoner in Paradise.”

Harris’ banner, along with Carole Myers, also recently acquired rights to “The Girl With the Golden Gun,” the real-life story of U.S. law enforcement officer Bonnie Tischler, who broke the BCCI Bank Case, one of the world’s biggest money-laundering schemes. Cynthia Cidre (“The Mambo Kings”) is attached to write.

Harris has worked with Haggis as a producing partner, manager and agent for more than two decades.

Harris, who also continues to be a partner at Regent Entertainment (“Gods and Monsters”), produced “Crash” with Haggis, Bob Yari, Cathy Schulman, Don Cheadle and Moresco.
