Weekend Box Office Preview<br> January 28, 2005

'There,' 'Carter' hoping to keep attracting urban auds

SOUL CINEMA

Outside the competitive summer and holiday months, studios typically program urban pics during the winter and spring seasons. After last weekend’s chart-topping success of ‘Are We There Yet?’ and ‘Coach Carter,’ distribs of the subgenre are looking forward to better B.O returns than last year.
