Lieberfarb joins Platform board

HOLLYWOOD — Warren Lieberfarb, the former Warner Home Video prexy who helped pioneer the DVD market, has joined the board of digital media publishing firm the Platform.

Seattle-based company offers one piece of technology that publishes media to multiple digital devices over any network, including wireless and online. Its clients include CNBC, Comcast and Microsoft.

CEO Ian Blaine is hoping to tap Lieberfarb’s expertise as his company attempts to improve its video offerings and woo more clients from Hollywood.

Lieberfarb currently heads his own consulting firm, Warren N. Lieberfarb & Associates.
