Vancouver-based post-production services firm Rainmaker has agreed to acquire two companies from Comweb Group: payroll services company EP Canada and Comweb Film Capital Corp., which provides film tax-credit administration services and financing through factoring tax credits.

Acquisitions further diversify Rainmaker’s service offerings and expand its presence to the Toronto market. Rainmaker will pay Comweb $19 million for the companies.
