Spielberg’s Brain

Letter to the Editor

To the Editor:

Regarding Rick Kissell’s recent Variety article about the WB’s Emmy victories, and lack thereof: Apparently, your records are incomplete, since your tally neglected to include the very first primetime Emmy Award that was won by the WB Network. The 1995-1996 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program went to “Steven Spielberg presents A Pinky & the Brain Christmas Special.”

The Brain was particularly irked by this omission in your article, but once he has achieved his goal of taking over the world, his mood should improve considerably.

Tom Ruegger

Senior Producer, “Pinky & the Brain”
