Australian children’s series “Hi-5” and “The Sleepover Club” will air in Asia via newly minted deals inked by Southern Star Sales.
Nickelodeon has nabbed Asian rights for “Hi-5,” and Turner Entertainment Network Asia bought it for India and the subcontinent. Disney Asia snapped up “Sleepover Club,” which also went to Turner for India and the subcontinent.
Separately, Southern Star licensed reality show “The Block” to Orion Korea for the South Korean cable/satellite market and dealt mainland China rights to docus “Hidden Worlds,” “Killer Bees, Attack!” and “The First World War” to Leland Intl. Corp.
