Fox has rolled to one of the most commanding Sunday primetime victories of the season behind its Carolina-Philadelphia NFL conference championship game, according to preliminary nationals from Nielsen.
Although numbers are a bit unreliable due to timezone adjustments in the fast-nationals, Fox figures to top a 15 rating in adults 18-49 and draw more than 36 million viewers overall for the pro football contest, which began slightly before primetime in the East.
CBS was a distant runner-up, getting good mileage out of repeat movie “Double Jeopardy” (3.9 11.9 million viewers overall). The Ashley Judd pic shot up to a slot-leading 4.9/12 in adults 18-49 and 14.3 million viewers from 10 to 11 (after the football game ended).
