HOLLYWOOD — HBO Central Europe has pacted with Twentieth Century Fox for pay TV rights to current releases and select library titles, including “Road to Perdition,” “Shallow Hal” and toon “Ice Age.”
The films will be shown on HBO channels in Hungary, the Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic, Romania and Bulgaria.
“We are really excited about this deal. The agreement will benefit not just HBO’s distribution partners, but also its subscribers across the region,” said Phil Roter, HBO CE’s CEO, announcing the deal on Thursday.
