What’s up, ‘Wasabi’

Sabato Jr. makes fun of himself in gangster spoof

Antonio Sabato Jr. admitted he was eager to shed his sex symbol image with “Wasabi Tuna” at Thursday night’s Hollywood bow.

“I wanted to make fun of myself,” Sabato said. “I wanted to get into the comedy world and keep changing people’s minds about me.”

Writer-producer Celia Fox had a different goal: spoofing “Training Day.” “I wanted to spoof all of this L.A. gangster stuff” Fox said.

Drag queen Alexis Arquette, Jason London and Betsey Johnson were also at the bow.
