HOLLYWOOD — CBS and Fox both are looking to score some hits this fall — but one network already has a headstart in the home-run derby.
Eye brought out the peanuts and Cracker Jacks for the TCA Sunday night at Dodger Stadium. Ballpark setting was apropos, considering the net has high hopes for new “Clubhouse” skein.
Carmine Giovinazzo of “CSI: NY” gave the crowd a thrill with a home run over the left field fence. Mingling with the press and shagging fly balls were an array of Eye execs and talent, including Viacom’s Leslie Moonves and Eye entertainment chief Nancy Tellem.
Fox stuck close to home with its Friday bash on the 20th backlot. After cocktails on the New York Street set, TV critics and celebs walked over to a soundstage decked out in a sea of white (very senior prom).
Cast and producers of “Arrested Development” stopped by, as did “The OC” creator Josh Schwartz and the show’s stars, Hugh Laurie (“House”), “24” co-creator Joel Surnow, “North Shore” hunk Jason Momoa and “Simple Life 2” star Nicole Richie. Fox’s Gail Berman held court well into the night.
