HOLLYWOOD — Everybody loved “Raymond” — and news queen Barbara Walters — at Monday night’s Museum of TV and Radio gala.
Top TV execs gathered at the Beverly Hills Hotel to honor Walters and the cast and crew of “Everybody Loves Raymond.”
Aud saw footage of the newsie’s famed trip to the Bay of Pigs with Fidel Castro and her second interview with him, 25 years later. Castro had turned gray — but Walters looked nearly the same.
Meanwhile, “Raymond” stars talked about their experiences with the show — now in its final season — with creator Phil Rosenthal bringing down the house with the night’s final speech.
Spotted in the crowd: Viacom’s Sumner Redstone and Leslie Moonves; Disney/ABC’s Anne Sweeney; Warner Bros.’ Bruce Rosenblum and Peter Roth; and Sony’s Steve Mosko.
