Greg Kinnear admitted that he doesn’t know the ins and outs of the American Film Market. But he knew it was a good idea to come to the Bob Yari and Syndicate Films Intl. party at the Crustacean restaurant in Beverly Hills on Thursday night.
“I don’t really understand exactly what goes on behind the curtain,” said AFM first-timer Kinnear, whose latest pic, “The Matador,” is being sold by Syndicate at the market. “But I understand that the people who matter to the process are here. ”
He added: “Actors don’t have to do a lot. They show up and say hi a few times a year and every one is very nice and very pleasant. I have not been egged tonight, so the evening is going swimmingly.”
