Educator and production pro

Robert F. Enrietto Jr., educator and production pro, died Dec. 27 of a heart attack in Chicago. He was 62.

A Chicago native, Enrietto worked as production manager and assistant director before becoming the creator of Columbia College’s Semester in L.A. program.

A Columbia alum, he believed the college should have a presence in Hollywood and helped develop the program at CBS Studio Center, which included classes in screenwriting and animation.

Among his motion picture production credits are “Harold and Maude,” “Tora! Tora! Tora!” and “Phantom of the Paradise.” He also worked in TV on “Hawaii Five-O,” “Remington Steele,” “Little House on the Prairie” and several others.

He is survived by his mother and sister.
