Global children’s publishing and media company Scholastic has tapped Mary Mitchell senior veep, strategic marketing for Scholastic Education. She was most recently a senior partner and client services director for Gotham ad agency OgilvyOne.

Mitchell is charged with building strategic marketing initiatives and customer loyalty programs using Scholastic’s e-commerce, the company’s sales force, telesales, direct mail and catalog marketing. She reports to Margery Mayer, prexy of Scholastic Education.
