Storm will rage for ‘Hours’ on TNT

Schroder, Williams sign up for net flick

TNT has signed JoBeth Williams and Rick Schroder to topline “14 Hours,” the cabler’s next Johnson & Johnson Spotlight Presentation, from Goldie Hawn’s Cosmic Entertainment, Magna Global and Paramount Network TV.

Gregg Champion (“The Cowboy Way”) is set to direct from a script by Danilo Bach (“Beverly Hills Cop”).

True story concerns a Texas hospital overwhelmed by a terrible storm. Over a 14-hour period, staff and patients come together to ensure no one is hurt.

Hawn, Shanna Nussbaum, Jay Cohen, Frances Croke Page and Elaine Frontain Bryant will exec produce the project.

“14 Hours” is the sixth TNT movie to be produced under the J&J banner. Most recent project, William H. Macy starrer “The Wool Cap,” preems Nov. 21. Past efforts include the Emmy-winning “Door to Door,” “Miss Lettie and Me,” “Wilder Days” and “The Winning Season.”

Williams, known for her work in the features “Kramer vs. Kramer” and “Poltergeist,” next stars in the Farrelly brothers’ movie “Fever Pitch” opposite Drew Barrymore.

Schroder recently starred in three seasons of “NYPD Blue” and A&E telepic “The Lost Battalion.”
