LONDON — Sky One, the flagship entertainment channel of satcaster BSkyB, has appointed Jamie Roberts to scout for program ideas in Los Angeles.

As head of production and development for U.S. nonscripted programming, Roberts will seek to identify “quick turnaround programs and major new formats” and develop co-production opportunities with U.S. broadcasters.
