Co. confident decisions will be overturned on appeal

SYDNEY– Village Roadshow is contesting tax bills for the 1992 and 1993 financial years totaling A$185.2 million ($129.5 million).

The Aussie entertainment company said the Australian Tax Office has disallowed its objections to assessments for those years.

VRL said it was confident these decisions will be overturned on appeal and that it has made adequate provision for its liability.
