NBC Universal has upped Jerry DiCanio to oversee the nuts and bolts of its TV production arm.
As exec VP of production operations, DiCanio will handle all physical production for NBC Universal TV and NBC Universal TV Distribution.
DiCanio, most recently senior veepee of production operations and finance at NBC Studios, will report to NBC U TV Group exec VP Marc Graboff.
DiCanio “has always been a key component of the studio’s success, going back to the early days of NBC Studios,” Graboff said.
In his previous post, DiCanio handled all production and financial operations for NBC Studios and NBC Enterprises. He joined NBC Studios in 1994 as VP.
Before that, he spent more than a decade at Viacom Prods., working his way up to senior VP, finance.
