Kolb joins E! as sr. veep

Exec will lead creative services for both cablers

E! Networks has hired former WB marketing exec veep Suzanne Kolb as senior vice president of marketing for both E! and the Style Network.

She will report to prexy-CEO Ted Harbert and chief operating officer Ken Bettsteller.

Kolb worked with Harbert while she was at Grey Entertainment, handling marketing for longform, primetime, kids’ programming and latenight.

Beginning Jan. 18, Kolb will lead creative services, advertising, strategic brand partnerships, on-air promotions and design, as well as online marketing and promotions, for both cablers as well as E! Online.

She also will work with the company’s international division in directing brand strategies worldwide.

At the WB, Kolb oversaw media planning, print advertising, integrated marketing, affiliate marketing and Kids’ WB marketing.

She also spearheaded the marketing efforts for series including “Dawson’s Creek,” “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “Smallville,” “Gilmore Girls,” “Reba,” “Jack & Bobby,” “Pokemon” and “Yu-Gi-Oh.”
