Latourelle invents word for invented show

Cirque du Soleil co-founder Normand Latourelle rode back into L.A. after 17 years for Tuesday’s opening night of “Cavalia,” the 33-horse/60-performer show that combines rodeo, dressage and jumping.

“We invented a word to fit an invented show,” Latourelle said. “It’s about horses, but it’s not a horse show.”
