Omni Broadcasting Network has completed production of “Music on Demand,” a half-hour series featuring rising musical stars from around the world.
Series, produced by Eclectic Entertainment, was taped before a live audience at Hollywood club Sixteen Fifty.
“They say music has no boundaries, and this series is here to prove just that, presenting artists from all genres and cultures,” said Omni prexy-general manager Dennis Johnson.
Series is scheduled to begin airing on Omni’s network in January, Johnson said.
Bands featured include Albino Catfish, Hypnogaja, Best of Seven, Minibar, Flash Express, Eric Eggleston, the Color Green and Jim Bianco. The show is hosted by Grasie Mercedes and Cory Almeida.
Omni launched in September 2003. It owns one TV station in San Luis Obispo, Calif., and negotiates carriage in other cities, giving it access to 50 million households, Johnson said.
