Shakespeare & Co. receive grant

Lenox, Mass.-based theater org Shakespeare & Co. has received a $3,500 grant from the Massachusetts Foundation for the Humanities, allowing it to expand its summer 2004 Free Bankside Festival of outdoor productions and events.

The org will add a Bankside Humanities Series, consisting of educational events about Shakespeare’s time. This year’s performances will run June 7-Aug. 31. For more information, visit www.shakespeare.org.
