Hall of Fame honors hoofer

Hines, Cariou, McKellen, Murray, Parsons feted

The late Gregory Hines is among this year’s inductees into the Theater Hall of Fame. Induction ceremony will be held Jan. 24 in the north rotunda of Broadway’s Gershwin Theater.

Thesps Len Cariou, Ian McKellen, Brian Murray and Estelle Parsons also are among the inductees, selected by 350 voiting members of the Theater Hall of Fame and the American Theater Critics Assn.

Also to be honored are playwright A.R. Gurney, designer Santo Loquasto and producer Elizabeth I. McCann.
