NEW YORK — Road grosses went up a slight 0.2% to $13,996,322 during Week 45 (March 29-April 4).

The top earner was “The Lion King” in San Francisco, which pulled in $1,074,612 in its 10th week at the Orpheum Theater.

“Hairspray” was a close second, picking up $1,034,660 in Denver. In third place was “The Phantom of the Opera,” which far outpaced its Broadway counterpart, earning $1,006,329 in Chicago.
