Departing head Atwell to remain as deputy

LONDON — Duncan Kenworthy, best known as the producing partner of Richard Curtis, has been elected chairman of the British Academy of Film & Television Arts.

Kenworthy, currently deputy chair, will succeed Michael Attwell, who is stepping down after his two-year tenure but will continue as Kenworthy’s deputy for another year.
