HOLLYWOOD — Buena Vista Motion Pictures Group has promoted Brigham Taylor to senior VP of production.
Taylor will continue to report to BVMPG prexy Nina Jacobson and will be responsible for finding, developing and overseeing the production of films under the Walt Disney and Touchstone Pictures banners.
While at the studio, Taylor has overseen the production of, among other pics, “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl,” “Holes,” “The Santa Clause 2,” “The Rookie,” “The Haunted Mansion,” “Hidalgo” and “Miracle.”
Upcoming projects include “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe,” “Sky High” and the sequels to “Pirates of the Caribbean.”
Taylor joined the Walt Disney Co. in 1994 as an assistant. He spent a year as a creative exec and two years as director of development. For the last two years, Taylor was a VP of production.
