‘Venture’ goes Chi high

Toon to air on Cartoon Network

“The Venture Brothers,” a cartoon comedy-adventure television series produced by Gotham-based animation studio Noodlesoup Prods., won the animated television series award at Cineme 2003, Chicago’s first animation film festival.

Cartoon Network is set to broadcast the first 13 half-hour episodes of “The Venture Brothers,” created by “The Tick” scribe Jackson Publick, beginning in the spring as part of the cabler’s “Adult Swim” programming block.
