NEW DELHI — Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will voice Mr. Incredible in the Hindi version of the Disney-Pixar movie “The Incredibles,” and his 7-year-old son Aryan will voice Dash.
In the Hindi version, “Hum hain lajawab” (We Are Incredible), Mr. Incredible becomes Mr. Lajawab and Dash is Tez.
It was difficult to give an Indian slant to “The Incredibles,” so the script has been reworked by scribe-actor-comedian Javed Jaffrey and is “more than just a literal translation,” Khan said in India’s entertainment capital, Mumbai.
“Hum hain lajawab” is being released in India simultaneously with the English version on Dec. 17.
