The Ambassador Hotel will host film production for Millennium Films’ “The Tenants,” starring Snoop Dogg and Dylan McDermott.

Pic, an adaptation of the 1971 Bernard Malamud novel, is scripted by David Diamond. Danny Green makes his feature directing bow.

“The Tenants” is the story of the sole tenant in a rundown building. He’s struggling to finish a novel when another writer moves into the New York City tenement. The two must confront issues of racism, anti-Semitism and artistic rivalry.

Millennium Films produces the film in conjunction with Emmett/Furla Films. Producers are Randall Emmett and Holly Wiersma, with Avi Lerner as executive producer.

Diamond’s credits include “Evolution” and “The Family Man.”

Green previously was second AD on a number of films, including “Envy” and “Soul Plane.”
