MGM has upped Jeff Killingsworth to executive veep of media.
Killingsworth has served as senior veep of media at the company since 1997, and will continue to oversee the development and implementation of media plans for all films released by both MGM and United Artists.
He reports to Peter Adee, prexy of worldwide marketing.
“Whether it is an event movie for all audiences or a film with a very narrow target, Jeff is especially adept at strategizing our media buys for maximum impact,” Adee said.
Before joining the Lion in 1997, Killingsworth oversaw operations of Western Intl. Media’s theatrical entertainment division as senior vice president and oversaw media plans for Western’s Disney account, including all Touchstone, Hollywood Pictures, and Walt Disney Pictures releases.
He also worked as vice prexy, associate media director at Grey Entertainment & Media on Grey’s Warner Bros. Pictures account.
