Graham Larson has partnered with Seann William Scott at Identity Films, Scott’s Universal-based film and TV production shingle.
Most recently Scott was an associate producer on the Zwick-helmed “The Last Samurai,” for Warner Brothers.
Identity’s first project at Universal, where the shingle has a two-year first-look deal, is likely to be “Gregoire Moulin vs. Humanity,” a remake of the 2001 French romantic comedy, directed by Artus de Penguern. Will McRobb and Chris Viscardi (“My Boss’s Daughter”) recently signed on to write the script.
Scott and Larson are producing with Lauren Shuler Donner under both the Identity and Donners’ Co. banners.
Other Identity projects include the psychological thriller “Within,” being developed with Warren Zide and Craig Perry; the biopic of NASCAR champion and moonshine runner Junior Johnson with producer Mark Gordon; and a remake of the Peter Sellers jail-break comedy “Two-Way Stretch.”
