Former Pacific Theaters exec Ted Mundorff has been named VP-head film buyer at Landmark Theaters.
Tuesday’s official announcement follows earlier word Mundorff was prepared to bolt Pacific, his professional home for the last 26 years (Daily Variety, Jan. 8). He will be responsible for all booking and buying for the 57-theater Landmark circuit.
“It’s our privilege to welcome such a highly respected executive as Ted to Landmark,” Landmark exec VP Bert Manzari said. “His wealth of experience in film buying will be a tremendous asset to the company.”
Said Mundorff: “It’s been a longtime goal of mine to head up a film department for a leading specialized film exhibitor. So it’s an honor to join Landmark at this time, as the company continues to expand into new markets.”
