Belgium’s Cinematheque is staging a festival of pics from Finland to celebrate the release of Belgian film “Aaltra,” in which two men go to Finland to find the maker of the tractor that caused the accident that confined them to wheelchairs.

Program will include the complete works of Aki Kaurismaki. Helmer is due to make a personal appearance on April 23.

Other featured directors include Klaus Haro, maker of “Elina: As If I Wasn’t There,” which won Berlin’s Glass Bear for feature in 2003; Jarmo Lampela (“River,” 2001); and Auli Mantila (“The Collector,” 1997).
