Jim Fall, who most recently helmed Disney’s “The Lizzie McGuire Movie,” has come aboard to direct indie romantic comedy “Jupiter’s Mom,” penned by Heidi Ferrer.
Jennifer Eatz is producing with Outlaw Prods Robert Newmyer and Scott Strauss and Gold Circle Films’ Paul Brooks.
Project, being financed by Gold Circle, was brought to the company by Wendy Rhoads, the exec overseeing the pic’s production.
Story centers on an ambitious, successful city girl who goes to visit her freespirited younger sister in the country but finds herself stuck taking care of her 3-year-old nephew Jupiter.
Gold Circle is in post-production on “Jiminy Glick,” a comedy based on the Comedy Central character created by Martin Short; “Something Borrowed,” a romantic comedy starring Debra Messing and Dermot Mulroney; “White Noise,” a supernatural thriller starring Michael Keaton that will be released by Universal Pictures; and “The Long Weekend,” a comedy starring Chris Klein and Brendan Fehr.
Fall and Ferrer are represented by UTA.
